Vedic astrology relies on precise astronomical positioning of planetary bodies at your exact moment and geographical location of birth. To compute your Janam Kundli, planetary houses, dashas, and personalized horoscopes, we collect:

• Date of Birth: Used to look up astronomical ephemeris and planetary longitudes.
• Time of Birth: Used to determine your exact Ascendant (Lagna) and astrological house cusps.
• Place / City of Birth: Used to derive geographical latitude and longitude coordinates and the appropriate local time zone offset.
• Gender: Used for traditional Vedic interpretive rules (such as Ashtakoot compatibility matching).
• Calculated Astrological Details: Astrological charts generated by our Vedic calculation engine, Moon Sign (Rashi), Birth Constellation (Nakshatra), Ascendant sign, planetary periods (Dashas), and astrological placements.

C. Partner Kundli Compatibility (Kundli Milan) Information

When you utilize the Kundli Matching (Kundli Milan) feature, you voluntarily submit the birth details (name, date of birth, birth time, and birth place) of a prospective partner. This information is processed exclusively to calculate the traditional 36 Guna Milan compatibility score, Bhakoot, and Nadi dosha, and is stored in your private consultation history so you can review the compatibility report.

D. AI Astrologer Consultation Messages

When you interact with the AstroNeeti AI Astrologer, we collect the text of your astrological questions, inquiries, and dialogue timestamps, as well as the generated astrological guidance. If you provide ratings or feedback on a response, that feedback is saved to help monitor the quality and helpfulness of consultations.

E. Spiritual Practice & Smart Japa Chanting Data

AstroNeeti provides a digital Smart Japa Counter and sacred mantra library. To support your spiritual routine, we record:

• Total count of completed chants.
• Consecutive daily chanting streaks.
• Favorite or saved sacred mantras.
• Anonymous real-time community participation counters, allowing users to see total concurrent spiritual chanting activity without revealing individual identities.

F. Wallet & Transaction Records

AstroNeeti provides an in-app digital wallet allowing users to recharge credits for AI consultations and comprehensive Kundli reports. We record:

• Virtual wallet balance, cumulative recharges, and consultation credit usage.
• Promotional bonus coins or credits awarded through app activities.
• Transaction records: Order reference identifiers, recharge amounts in Indian Rupees (₹), payment status (successful, failed, or pending), transaction timestamps, and selected consultation plans.

G. Device & Technical Information

To maintain fair daily usage quotas and protect our service against automated abuse, we record:

• Device Identifier: A pseudonymous device identifier used strictly to enforce daily free question limits, detect bot activity, and prevent automated spam.

3. AI Processing & Third-Party AI Services

AstroNeeti incorporates advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to synthesize complex astrological chart parameters into natural, empathetic, and culturally nuanced Vedic guidance.

A. What Information is Shared with the AI Model

When you submit an inquiry to the AI Astrologer, the following parameters are processed:

• The text of your question or prompt (e.g., questions regarding career, marriage, education, or personal remedies).
• Calculated Vedic astrological chart attributes: Ascendant (Lagna), Moon Sign (Rashi), Sun Sign, active planetary Dasha periods, and relevant planetary house placements.

B. Privacy & Data Minimization Safeguards

We enforce strict data minimization before transmitting questions to our AI service provider:

• Personal Identifiers Stripped: Your email address, phone number, Google account identifier, billing records, and street address are never transmitted to the AI provider.

4. Payments, Wallet & Transaction Records

AstroNeeti operates a digital recharge model where users can purchase wallet credits or consultation plans to consult the AI Astrologer or generate detailed Kundli reports.

A. Payment Processing Architecture

AstroNeeti does not act as a bank or payment processor. All payments are securely handled by certified third-party payment gateways:

• Razorpay Software Private Limited: Handles domestic payments in India, including UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), NetBanking, and credit/debit cards. Razorpay is RBI-authorized and certified PCI-DSS compliant.
• Google Play Billing (Google LLC): Handles in-app purchases processed through the Google Play Store on Android devices.

B. Information Retained by AstroNeeti

When a payment is completed, our server receives only non-sensitive reconciliation metadata:

• Gateway transaction and order reference identifiers.
• Amount paid (in INR ₹) and currency.
• Timestamp of transaction initiation and completion.
• Transaction status (successful, failed, or pending).
• Payer name and email address as returned by the gateway for receipt matching.
